Qualifications I have 'A' level Art, three year Diploma in Craft Design in New Zealand, light metals, jewellery, printmaking. 1994 awarded grant 'New Emerging Craft Artist' from Arts Council New Zealand. People I have been Assistant jeweller to Ralph Rowe for six years. Lived abroad in Australia and New Zealand. Travelled in Asia, India, Thailand, Burma, Nepal and Indonesia. People I am now Self employed designer jeweller, part time tutor at MCSJ, I enjoy designing, making, exhibiting, pottering in sheds...evolving collections of contemporary jewellery, experimenting, learning, playing. People I hope to become I hope to travel, collecting, learning, teaching, visiting far flung corners of the globe (carbon footprint allowing). Learning arts and crafts of different cultures, collecting curiosities and knowledge to share, perhaps open a little gallery one day.
